Where are you?

The time-lapsed
blur
teases your location.

I come close,
only to find
the steel-cold edge
of an image
no longer present.

You were here
and are still near.

I know it.

I sense the
warmth,
even as I embrace
your frosty apparition.

I follow the heat
and pray it’s not in vain.
