egregious offense

egregious offense –
caring far too much.

few can handle the pressure,
but they should adjust.

you, friend, should adjust.

fear withholds your love,
and you should let loose.

free your heart to fly
free your heart to swim
to skip, to saunter

whatever your held heart desires.

stop holding – let go.
hold another’s heart,
and let them hold yours.

may end up broken;
yours and theirs alike.

risk brokenness to gain everything.

love dangerously.
