off we go,
into the wild, blue yon….

der?

the sky’s the….
limit?

glass and steel.
Those are limits.

this jet
going no place fast

vast expanse of windows
a tease

visions of what once was.
what could be again?

freedom to fly
can be an illusion

there is more out there
– infinitely more –

but we are here
inside looking out

a museum piece
finds its worth in memory

but memories of freedom
won’t fly anymore

break some windows
twist some steel girders

fly.
