fix it all.
Some days it does
some days, not much
this week a worthless,
broken crutch.
when mind can’t over matter rise
what else to do with inner cries?
try to ignore – will never work
open mouth – sound like a jerk
push ahead
push ahead
wander like the living dead
all these options – what’s the right one?
I try to pick – it’s not much fun.
Yes, affirmations can help, but sometimes, they ring hollow despite the best of intentions. Good luck with pushing ahead, hopefully not like the living dead for too long.
