This morning I tried to be clever
pushed buttons and pulled on a lever
but nothing came out
that you’d e’er shout about
it will keep for tomorrow’s endeavor

I know you do. They always feel like an “easy out” when I’m otherwise dry, though, which diminishes their “worth” in my mind.
