Life Uncovered – Sonnet XXX

I’ve Opened Up; I’ve come way Out in front;
You’d think by now All Saw my Sights to See.
But if you think that’s true, you’re wrong – (I’m blunt);
I still hold back from sight some of the “me”.
Whose business is it? Some may ask in truth;
It’s mine, All Mine, yet Life Withheld stokes Shame,
so Out some more I come, you need not sleuth.
Perhaps some day such Revelations – Tame.
This sonnet’s much too short for such Reveal;
A longer form will surely come anon.
Before the Feature, just a brief Newsreel;
A moment to reflect on times bygone.
The unexamined life is not worth living,
And Life Uncovered – Hidden – Unforgiving.
