Inexplicable Incarnation

Tonight – we celebrate
The Merging
Of cosmic deity
With earthly flesh

I used to marvel
And find meaning.

And today,
I try again.

Tomorrow,
I’ll just wonder
anew,

Why?

Who would do
This

On purpose?
