Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “page.” Use it as a noun or a verb. Have fun!
Once again, Stream of Consciousness Saturday has turned to Sunday. And you know what? I’m ok with that, because I think I’ve begun to turn the page from the perfectionism that says I MUST do things the “right” way in order to be “ok”.
Every day is a new page in a book of endless pages.
Two life changing realizations:
- If I stay stuck on a page, that’s on ME.
- “Turning the page” doesn’t mean I’ve reached the end of the book. There will always be another page.
I think that’s it for today. And it is more than enough.
#SoCS comes from the website of Linda G. Hill.
Here are the rules:
1. Your post must be stream of consciousness writing, meaning no editing (typos can be fixed), and minimal planning on what you’re going to write.
2. Your post can be as long or as short as you want it to be. One sentence – one thousand words. Fact, fiction, poetry – it doesn’t matter. Just let the words carry you along until you’re ready to stop.
meh, Friday? Saturday? Sunday? At least you are showing up! (Half the battle, as they say…) Which is better than I have been doing (my poor neglected blog…). I’ve been doing SoCS for YEARS, usually religiously, but… dunno… something is keeping me away lately. I always look forward to your posts, regardless of the day. 🙂
