When still waters run deep
The deep can often roil with peril;
Energy seeking surface
release in vain,
As the glassine meniscus
belies at least some
of the truth.
Ultimately,
Uncontainable
Tsunami forces overtake
the calm.
Chaos and wild
futile attempts at swimming
in the midst of the onslaught,
Serene devastation after,
as bodies are recovered
and rebuilding begins.
Better to ride
the occasional wave
than to be crushed under
water withheld.
This is so right. The last stanza sums it up. DON’T TRY TO STUFF YOUR FEELINGS! 🙂

This was one of those that wrote itself. I probably could/should have polished it a bit more, but it felt right.
